The staff here was super friendly and helpful throughout the day. We requested a really nice room with 2 single beds and a TV, and they hooked us up with just what we wanted 🌟. the room had all the cool stuff, like excellent facilities and everything we needed.

The staff was really nice and helpful. I loved that the room was clean and also the bathroom, which is very important for me. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. Location is fabolous and the peace and quiet at night was amazing.
The car park was full, so I had to leave the car in another car park. A discounted price of the parking would have been nicer, but it was close and the car was safe for the night.

Stayed in a room with fantastic views of the old town, the location was amazing in a restricted area, and the bed was comfortable.

Excellent location inside the old town, nice staff
Access was not easy and could be better explained on the website. Internet access shaky at best and not free, contrary to hotel website & bookings page.

all the staff was very friendly and competent, solved my issues. the room was a nice size with 4 beds, besides it had wake-up service, just in case. coffee/tea making machines and a fridge were very handy.

The front desk staff were extreemly kind and helpful at this hotel. Most knew English very well and were willing to assist us with any type of inquiry we had, which were quite a few. We were travelling with three couples and the common area on our floor was very appreicated so that we could sit together and visit as our rooms were too small to fit us all together to visit. The daily breakfast was excellent.

The location is perfect and close to downtown. The room is bigger than I expect, with confort bed. But the hotel does not have elevator, so we need to carry the luggage to 2nd floor.

I was actually surprised by the central location of the hotel, making it convenient to explore the old town district. The rooms were simple but clean, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was accommodating and flexible, allowing me to have an early breakfast due to my early departure. Plus, it was a nice bonus that the hotel allowed dogs in the rooms.

Nothing, besides they offered me an alternative hotel, the Hotel civitas. In Cicitas: nice roomes, bath O.K., elevator, parking at the street (paid). Hotel nothing special, but acceptable. Would rate it in a 2 star-hotel. Very nice and friendly receptionist in the morning.
In reality this hotel isn't at all what it seems to be on internet!!! Only book this hotel if you want to experience the "Ostalgia" of an Eastern Country 20 years ago! Old hotel, no comfort at all, the rooms much, much smaller and darker than shown on Internet, no elevator, no staff to help (only one pregnant lady in the whole hotel!), no signs in the whole town, where this hotel is situated, t much too expensive parking place, complicated way to the hotel, situated in the very old town of Sopron, where a lot of houses look, if they would break together the next minute, you have to ring bells to pass gates to enter into this area, and the same when you want to go out. If nobody is at the hotel reception you have a problem and have to wait... The way to St. Margarethen was much longer than told. In the alternative hotel civitas: Hotel situated on a not very "cosy" street, quite loud, curtains didn't cover the windows, breakfast not very good: dry tomatos, dry cucumber, not many choices of bread, bad coffee, very small room, very loud, no privacy at all... Hotel too expensive for what you get.

The hotel is nicely appointed and ideally located in a downtown area. the room was impeccably clean and had good amenities, including a TV. - the magnificent location is close to Fabricius House and monuments, as well as a tower.
